Voice and Opera faculty coordinate their efforts in order to ensure the best possible training and preparation for students. Student and Educator Tickets (15) can be reserved by students and educators in advance, starting 2 weeks before the performance. The small size of the undergraduate and graduate student body enables one-on-one interaction with our experienced and dedicated faculty. Reduced price tickets for young people The Teatro dellOpera di Roma offers under 26-year-olds the chance to buy tickets for unsold seats at just 15.00. Our program, while committed to teaching skills necessary to master the canonical opera repertoire, also provides exciting opportunities to engage with living composers and librettists, and the new works they create. Our location in Los Angeles, a creative epicenter for new opera production in this country, enables our students to experience new work constantly. Our alumni have appeared at all the major opera houses of the world, including The Metropolitan Opera, La Scala Milan, Vienna State Opera, Paris Opera, Covent Garden and LA Opera. Students participate in fully-staged productions, experimental performances, and Opera Workshop training in movement, dance, and scene work. Opera UCLA is designed to provide students in the Voice and Opera Area with the tools they will need to succeed in opera performance.
